Samoa’s PM condemns acts of terrorism in Paris

Samoa’s Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi's has condemned the acts of terrorism in Paris, France in his letter of condolence to the President of France, Francois Hollande.

Tuilaepa said “these heinous acts of terrorism must be condemned in the strongest terms and all available measures taken to stamp them out.

“We watched and listened in shock and disbelief from our corner of the Pacific the horrifying atrocity perpetuated on Paris. It was an evil and vile attack that also targeted common humanity and our shared universal values of freedom,” he said.

“On behalf of our government and the people of Samoa I wish to convey our deepest sympathies and condolences to your Government and people of France. Our prayers are with all those who have suffered so grievously and lost loved ones in this terrible tragedy.”

Tuilaepa is expected to attend the United Nations Conference on Climate Change in Paris at the end of the month.
