Samoa businesses look to strengthen ties with Thailand

Businesses in Samoa are looking to strengthen ties with partners in Thailand and are hoping to benefit from training and development opportunities.

This comes after a visit to Thailand by members of the Samoa Association of Manufacturers and Exporters this month.

RNZ reports the S.A.M.E. delegation led by their president Tagaloa Eddie Wilson visited various Thai business operations including Rice Mills, Poultry and Aqua Farms and a pre-fabricated building manufacturer.

At the end of their visit the delegation and Thailand ambassador Maris Sangiampongsa agreed to ongoing cooperation between the countries.

Mainly through training opportunities and joint product development & research initiatives.
