US Secretary of State John Kerry on Friday urged Beijing to join a regional peace initiative that aims to settle disputes over the South China Sea.
Kerry spoke in Hanoi after meeting with Vietnam's Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, Phan Binh Minh.
