British singer Ed Sheeran married his childhood sweetheart Cherry Seaborn in a secret ceremony before Christmas, it is reported.
A low-key ceremony was reportedly held at the Shape of You singer's country estate.
A source close to him told UK newspaper The Sun that only Sheeran's oldest school friends and limited family were invited to the small ceremony. About 40 friends and family members were present.
"It was very quiet – just Ed's oldest school pals, limited family and the priest," a source told the UK outlet. "He wanted no fuss and he wanted it to be something entirely for them – just a tiny winter wedding."
Sheeran popped the big question in December 2017 and shared the engagement news a month later on Instagram.
The Sun's source added: "Ed and Cherry are planning festival-style party for a wider list to happen at the end of the (northern hemisphere) summer.
"That will be all singing and dancing, and they'll be able to invite Taylor (Swift) and their record company colleagues and royal friends."
This isn't the first time rumours have swirled about the Sheeran marriage. Back in February last year fans thought Sheeran and Seaborn secretly tied-the-knot when he was seen wearing a ring on his wedding finger.
