New Bishop of Polynesia named

Pacific Anglican archbishops have elected the Reverend Fereimi Cama to be the new Diocesan Bishop of Polynesia.

It will make him the joint leader of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia.

Bishop-elect Cama is to succeed Winston Halapua.

He was raised a Methodist but became an Anglican in the 1980s, later training at St John's College in Auckland.
