Manu Tuilagi rated ahead of Rugby World Cup

Samoan-born Manu Tuilagi has been rated to be ‘unbelievable’ in his performance ahead of the Rugby World Cup, next month.

Tuilagi, who has been named in the England’s Rugby World Cup squad, scored a try in their sensational 57-15 win over Ireland.

Fly-half George Ford said Tuilagi has been progressing well in his performance leading up to the world cup.

“Manu had some good continuity. You’re seeing some good things from him but I honestly do believe he is still getting better and building as well. He’s going to be unbelievable for us, he has got a massive smile on his face and he’s loving it at the minute.”

“With him and people like Joe (Cokanasiga) you want to get the ball in their hands and use their attacking threats. That is why they are the most dangerous players on the field when they do that, so we have got to do our job on the inside for them.” He said.

George Ford is the eighth-highest-scoring England international rugby union player with 266 points.

England is in Pool C with France, Argentina, USA and Tonga in the Rugby World Cup which kicks off in Japan next month.
