Motuga to boost Samoa’s campaign at the London 7s

Samoa will be depending on their star player Alamanda Motuga to lead the charge at the London 7s, this weekend.

Motuga is ranked third in the DHL Performance Tracker with 271 points behind Fiji’s Vilimoni Botitu in second with 272 points.

Connor Braid of the Wales team is currently in first place with 298 points.

Motuga has scored 51 tries and played 150 matches so far.

Winger Johnny Vaili is also the man to watch from Samoa after his successful appearance for the team.

He currently is the top try scorer in the team with 26 tries so far.

Samoa will take on France in their first pool game on Saturday before taking on Kenya on Sunday.

The team’s last pool game will be against Fiji on Sunday as well.
