Samoa out to get a win against Tonga

Samoa A has shifted its focus on lifting the standard of performance in their upcoming game against Tonga in the World Rugby Pacific Challenge, on Tuesday.

The Brian Lima-coached side lost to Junior Japan 31-21 in their first game of the tournament in Suva, Fiji last week.

After the match, Lima said they had committed mistakes that gave away the win to Japan.

“Congratulations Japan, our own mistakes cost us. We did made a lot of mistakes in the first half.” He said.

Meanwhile, Tonga also lost their first game against the Swire Shipping Fiji Warriors 54-14 in their first game.

Samoa A will take on Tonga at 2.30pm (local time) tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium in Suva before Fiji takes on Junior Japan at 5pm (local time).
