A prominent lawyer and former member of parliament in Samoa has been suspended by the country's law society.
Maiava Visekota Peteru announced her suspension to local media, saying she planned to challenge it.
The president of the Law Society, Leiataualesa Komisi Kora said it had received several complaints about Maiava, which are under investigation.
