Samoa Police Acting Commissioner, Papalii Monalisa Tiai Keti is grateful to police officers and the public for their support towards the police force throughout the year.
Papalii also took the opportunity to acknowledge the officers for their hard work as part of efforts to keep people safe.
The police force held a thanksgiving service at EFKS Hall in Mulinuu yesterday.
Awards and consolation prizes were presented to recipients and senior sergeants were issued with their police badges.
The service is usually held every year to not only acknowledge the work the officers do but also to start the usual police festive season operation.
