A Samoan woman who was shot in the face last week has been flown to New Zealand for further surgery.
The woman was allegedly shot by her partner, Peter Tulaga Eliese, who is Samoa's largest commercial taro farmer.
He has been charged with attempted murder and will appear in the Supreme Court on 4 February.
