Floyd Mayweather's new LA digs

Floyd Mayweather appears to have used some of his winnings from his win over Conor McGregor to splash out on a fancy new house.

The now-retired undefeated boxer has just bought a luxurious NZD$35 million six-bedroom house in Los Angeles, which has a 50-person cinema, swimming pool, wine cellar and a four-car garage.

Mayweather reportedly won US$300 million when he beat Irish UFC star Conor McGregor in a boxing match last month, so definitely has the money to treat himself.

He posted a few pics on his Instagram account of his new pad and a video of him going through a large lolly collection before heading into his cinema to watch Sportscenter.

The footage shows jars of lollies and popcorn, a drinks machine and other racks of treats.

Mayweather's incredible pad, set behind the famous Beverley Hills Hotel, also has a cocktail bar and separate guesthouse with its own gym.

He also spent $670,000 on home furnishings.

The two-storey building was originally on the market for $52m, but Mayweather was able to knock down the asking price with his cash purchase, to add to other properties he owns in Las Vegas and Miami.

There are private gardens, 10 bathrooms, mirrored wall fireplaces, a family room and separate living quarters for house staff.

Mayweather's master bedroom boats dual bathrooms and a private terrace looking down onto the pool area.
