Samoa Football Federation elects new President

Football Federation Samoa has elected a new President at their last congress.

The FFS held their Ordinary Congress just before last weekend.

Papalii Leslie Petaia was appointed President for the next four years, the FFS announced on their Facebook account.

Fuata Lai Tautiaga will be the new Vice President.

“After the Ordinary Congress this morning Papalii Leslie Petaia has been appointed as the new President whilst Fuata Lai Tautiaga as the Vice President for FFS in the next four years,” the statement read.

Petaia takes over from Reverend Laupama Solomona who served as acting President from April 2014 until 2015, when he was appointed as the President on a permanent basis.

Tautiaga gets the Vice President position from Palota Asiata.
