‘Young Rock’ star Uli Latukefu to reunite with Dwayne Johnson in DC’s ‘Black Adam’

Following a promise that the DC Universe would never be the same at August’s DC FanDome event, the film added One Night in Miami star Aldis Hodge to its boisterous cast. Shortly thereafter, cinematic legend Pierce Brosnan joined the cast as Dr. Fate. Now, as first reported by Deadline, Young Rock star Uli Latukefu is the latest name to join the cast of the DC film.

The Rock has not yet answered the call, and some people have taken to social media, accusing Dwayne Johnson of using his Samoan heritage to further his career without being true to the cultural values.

Releasing a 60-second video the Tourism Authority has put the case to The Rock why his mother's island homeland should be the first place he visits once borders reopen.

In anticipation of a safe travel bubble - the video features rainforest and swimming holes of Togitogiga Waterfall and white sands of Vavau Beach on Upolu.

Most importantly, there are generous helpings of Johnson's favourite tipple - Samoan inspired tequila – in an attempt to lure him to the islands.

While speaking virtually with Jimmy Fallon the actor's mother joined the pair when Fallon asked if his mother played the ukulele, the actor said, "Oh yes," and then called off-screen to his mother, "She's right here."

Ata Johnson stole the show immediately and showed off her ukulele skills.

After a few questions, The Rock then announced the pair will sing a song which Fallon seems to be delighted about.

Ata chooses to sing a classic Samoan kids song, Savalivali Means Go for a Walk.

The smiley mother and son duo then start singing.

The former wrestler, who is now the world's highest-paid actor, said he, his wife and two daughters caught the virus despite being "disciplined" about health protection.

He said the positive tests were "a kick in the gut".

Now, he added, "we're on the other end of it and no longer contagious. Thank God, we're healthy."

Johnson, 48, said he. his wife Lauren, 35, and their daughters Jasmine and Tiana, aged four and two, contracted the virus about two-and-a-half weeks ago.

Johnson's Red Notice co-star Ryan Reynolds was the second-highest paid actor, with earnings of $71.5m. Among his movie deals were $20m, also for Red Notice, and $20m for Six Underground, another Netflix film.

The wrestler-turned-actor could charge advertisers more than $1m (£790,000) per post last year, according to the social media marketing firm Hopper HQ.

The Fast and Furious star knocked make-up entrepreneur Kylie Jenner off the top spot.

She has 182 million Instagram followers, while he has 187 million.

UK-based company Hopper HQ, which runs social media accounts on behalf of companies and individuals, published its first Instagram rich list in 2017.

WWE: The Rock's daughter, Simone Johnson, will step into the ring

The actor's legendary pro-wrestling father, Rocky Johnson, passed away last week at age 75.

The younger Johnson posted an almost eight-minute video Sunday on his official Instagram account in which he expressed his appreciation.

"Hard to express how deeply grateful I am for all your love, mana & support," the caption read. "My family and I thank you. Go hug your loved ones hard, while you still can. I love you. DJ #ripsoulman."

The wrestler-turned-actor said during the video, "My heart is so full of gratitude."
