Usain Bolt ready to peak for London

Bolt laboured to a 10.06 seconds 100 metres victory in the Czech Republic last month and immediately travelled to see his doctor German Hans-Wilhelm Mueller- Wohlfahrt for some treatment on the back issues that have troubled him for years.

The Jamaican world record holder will test his treated back in Friday's Diamond League meeting in Monaco, which will be his last outing before he defends his 100m title and then goes in the 4x100m relay in the world championships.

"I'm feeling good," Bolt told a Monaco news conference.

London mayor: No red carpet for Trump

"State visits are different from a normal visit and at a time when the President of the USA has policies that many in our country disagree with, I am not sure it is appropriate for our government to roll out the red carpet," Khan told CNN in an interview Monday.

Last week, the White House confirmed that Trump's state visit to the United Kingdom has been delayed until 2018.

The delay comes amid concern that there will be mass protests against Trump in the British capital.

Fire hits London's Camden Lock Market

London Fire Brigade said 10 fire engines were sent to the market, which is a popular tourist attraction.

One eyewitness said the fire was moving "very fast" and there were fears of an explosion in nearby buildings.

London Ambulance Service said it had not treated any patients but remained at the scene. The Metropolitan Police also attended the incident.

Witness Joan Ribes, 24, said: "I was just passing by when I saw the fire and they started to get firefighters and police, it was all very fast.

London police say they are dealing with major incident

Authorities say "a number of casualties" are being treated at the scene.

"We have sent a number of resources to an incident in Seven Sisters Road. More information will follow when we have it," London Ambulance Service said on Twitter.

A statement from London's Metropolitan Police said one man had been arrested.

James Corden opens London shows: 'This is not a country that feels afraid'

The host, who is doing three consecutive shows from London this week, opened the show on the rainy streets of London with a message of defiance and unity.

"Some people might say it's a strange time to do a variety show from this city," he added. "I couldn't disagree more."

Joseph Parker's management want to fight winner of Joshua v Klitschko to unify belts

The Kiwi WBO heavyweight world boxing champion and his management are considering a massive unification fight against Joshua or Klitschko in London next August.

"Joe could be [at Joshua v Klitschko] to call out the winner for a mega-fight at Wembley in the late summer to unify the belts," Duco Events director David Higgins told The Express. 

"That's what we want – to unify the belts and we are willing to lose trying. If the other belt holders shared our views it would fix the heavyweight division.
