Students of the programme are working professionals seeking the skills to take their careers to the next level.

Classes, will run in the evenings to accommodate work schedules.

Hasmukh Lal, Chief Executive Officer of USP Pacific TAFE said that “expansion of delivery of these programmes to Samoa has been a priority for some time but it was vital to get the right personnel on board, with Dr Amosa in place we can be assured of the high standard of delivery that we need to maintain in all of our courses.”

USP’s IT Diploma gets NZ recognition

Skills International NZ is the largest employer body in New Zealand that advises accredited industry standards to NZQA.

This means that this programme is comparable to New Zealand Qualification Authority’s (NZQA) relevant Diploma in IT.

Director Pacific TAFE, Mr Hasmukh Lal said, “This is yet another achievement for Pacific TAFE in terms of international validation.”

Pacific TAFE programmes accredited

The programmes are Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Level 3), Certificate IV in Hospitality Operations, Certificate IV in Human Resources, Certificate IV in Project Management, Diploma in Information Technology (Level 5), Diploma in Office Management (Level 5), and Diploma in Accounting (Level 5).
