The signboards aim to promote the Apia Waterfront as a functional and attractive urban space for Samoans and tourists alike.
Some of the stories on the signboards relate to historical events that happened along the waterfront and also tell of interesting activities and sights to entice visitors to visit other parts of the country.
This project activity is a milestone under Samoa’s Waterfront Plan 2017-2026 that was launched by the Government of Samoa in late 2016.
