USP audit report

Report detailing USP mismanagement will not be made public

The decision was made after a daylong meeting of the university's council, which ended late last night.

Staff and students had called for it to be released in full, so the taxpayers of the Pacific - who fund the regional institution - could see what was going on.

But in a brief statement released after the meeting, the university said the report will only be released to council members.

The council will reconvene next month.
