Parramatta coach Brad Arthur has confirmed prop Junior Paulo has been pulled out of Monday's NRL match against Newcastle after requesting an early release to go to Canberra.
Paulo is likely to have played his final game for the Eels as his management and the club work through negotiating a mid-year move to the Raiders.
Arthur also admitted for the first time that the club's ongoing dramas have taken a toll on the Eels, who haven't won a game since being handed a salary cap breach notice by the NRL three weeks ago.
