Justin Bieber embroiled in US$100,000 lawsuit

Justin Bieber's latest drunken antics could cost him US$100,000 (NZ$144,536).

The Sorry singer was at Houston's Cle nightclub last month when he unsuccessfully attempted to chug a beer bong, TMZ reports.

Robert Earl Morgan, a fellow pub-goer, shot video footage of Bieber on his cellphone, and Bieber wasn't happy.

A lawsuit filed by Jason Friedman claims Morgan never got his SIM card back, which contained photographs of his grandmother's 100th birthday party, his travels and business contacts. He also argues the loss has resulted in loss of commission.

Morgan is suing Bieber for up to US $100,000.

Bieber's net worth is estimated at US $200 million.
