Samoa Police, Prisons and Correction Services (SPPCS) has confirmed that three members of their Assets Division died in a traffic accident this afternoon.
A fourth passenger on the truck remains in a critical condition.
Police said the POL.81 dyna truck crashed at Tiavi.
“We ask the public for your understanding whilst we are dealing with this tragic incident.”
“SPPCS will provide information in due time to answer any queries regarding this matter,” Police said in a statement.
The truck was reportedly delivering materials to a police post when the accident occurred.
