Esau Luamanuvae Poe has been promoted to Police Inspector after serving the Samoa Police Force for 32 years.
The 53-year-old said the experience has been quite a journey.
Esau was rewarded at the Honours ceremony at Tanoa Tusitala, last Friday.
He said the promotion is a reminder that there is always room to strive for the best, and no limit to grabbing opportunities such as this one.
“I will continue to work even harder for the Ministry of Police and Prisons; and God willing I’ll be serving for another 30 years!” he said.
