Samoa have taken overall winners for both Men and Women at the IFBB New Zealand Championship 2019 held in Manukau Auckland.
All Team Samoa athletes won Gold in their divisions with John Lemoa and Tunu Matautia winning the ‘Overall Winner’ titles for Men and Women
Bodybuilding Federation of Samoa (BBFS) President Magele Johannas Keil led the delegation. Keil had also recently taken out a clean sweep of gold medals at the IFBB South Pacific Championships held in Tahiti last weekend.
The IFBB New Zealand (international federation of bodybuilding) hosted the annual event which doubles as a pre-qualifier for world and Australasian competitions.
“This event is a pre-qualifier for the IFBB men’s worlds 2019 and Australasian champs 2020.”
