Schools sports event back after three years absence

Over 3,000 Fiji secondary school students from over 130 schools will compete in track and field events over three days at the Coca-Cola Games in Suva.

The popular annual athletics meet hasn't been held since 2019 due to the covid pandemic.

The competition has created top Fijian athletes who have gone on to represent their country.

Chief operations officer Abdul Khan says Fiji Police will scale up their operations to ensure the event is accident free.
