Samoa Police investigate discovery of two bodies in vehicle

The victims have been identified as a 66-year-old man of Falelauniu and a 49-year-old female of Siusega and Tafaigata.

According to Police, both individuals were found in the back seat of a vehicle plate number 21594 parked at Tuanaimato.

 They were taken to Motootua Hospital and were declared dead on arrival.

A post mortem has been requested for both deceased and police investigations are continuing.

 

     

Samoa police arrest man over double homicide

The suspect was arrested on the evening of Friday, 23 November, hours after police discovered two badly slayed bodies in an open outdoor kitchen area.

Police said at 7:05am that morning, Criminal Investigation Division (CID) responded to a homicide case regarding two dead bodies located at Leulumoega-uta

The two deceased has been identified as a 69-year old man of Leulumoega uta/Lufilufi and New Zealand and his 42-year-old son in law of Savaia Lefaga and Leulumoega uta.

Evidence of alcohol was also found at the site with the bodies in badly slayed conditions.
