Foran still no certainty for Warriors debut

The Warriors desperately need Foran having lost three of their first four games of the season.

He was due to play last round against St George but was a late withdrawal after suffering a hamstring injury warming up.

Despite having a history of hamstring and back issues Foran said he hasn't had any problems for a year or so.

"It was really bizarre how it happened," he said.

Paasi joins Titans casualty ward

Paasi picked up the injury to the same shoulder which went under a complete reconstruction in the off-season midway through the first half against the Cowboys last Saturday night and could be sidelined for as long as six weeks.

The Titans' forward stocks could suffer another significant blow on Tuesday night when co-captain Ryan James fronts the judiciary to plead not guilty to a charge of a shoulder charge. If he is found guilty James will miss two weeks but can escape suspension altogether if the Titans can mount a successful defence.

Henry at a loss over Titans' slow starts

For the fourth week in succession the Titans gave up a double-digit lead to their opponents with Johnathan Thurston scoring a try and kicking three goals to get the North Queensland Cowboys out to a 10-0 lead after 19 minutes on Saturday night.

Hess leads Cowboys to win over Titans

For the fourth week in succession the Titans dawdled out of the blocks and while the Cowboys completed at 100 per cent with 80 per cent of the ball the home side could complete only one of their first four sets of the game.

Copley signs with Titans

The 25-year-old has made 86 appearances in the NRL since making his debut in Round 15 of season 2009 for the Brisbane Broncos. Copley moved to the Roosters in 2016, playing 14 matches for the tri-colours over the course of the year.

Cornish earns NRL debut with injury-hit Titans

Decimated by injuries the Titans have recalled both Dan Sarginson (knee) and William Zillman (calf) into the starting side but both trained predominantly with the rehab group on Tuesday.

Hayne to be sidelined for 4-6 weeks

As he ran his eye over the walking wounded at the Titans' recovery session at Parkwood on Monday, Henry ran through the list of injuries stemming from Saturday's 34-26 loss to the Knights as well as providing an update on players who could return in time to face the Eels at Cbus Super Stadium on Friday night.

Eleven players with NRL experience are on the injured list at present with William Zillman (calf), Dan Sarginson (knee) and Ryan Simpkins (rib cartilage) the three most likely to come into consideration for selection on Tuesday.

Knights defeat injury-hit Titans

In a seesawing affair that produced everything, the Knights received a gift with six minutes left on the clock when Titans playmaker Tyrone Roberts kicked the ball out on the full to hand possession over to his former side.

The embattled club, who were staring down the barrel of 20 consecutive defeats, took advantage with Knights skipper Trent Hodkinson delivering a clutch pass on the inside for Peter Mata'utia to barge his way over for the match-winner.

Titans to blood rookie winger against Knights

Zillman failed to train on Wednesday with a calf complaint and was not sighted when the team took to the field on Friday morning, Roberts-Davis slotting in on the left wing in what would appear to be a straight swap.

Greenwood's NRL dream now a reality

When it was decided by the Titans coaching and medical staff that Proctor would not return for the second half against the Roosters on Saturday night Greenwood was thrust into battle.

By running on for the second 40 minutes he and fellow Titans recruit Dan Sarginson created Telstra Premiership history by becoming the first English pair to debut for the same club in the same game in the NRL era, but he has already set his sights on playing a more significant role in the coming weeks.
