Google faces new anti-trust lawsuit over app store

The lawsuit claims that the tech giant has used "monopolistic leverage" to generate large profits from purchases made within its own store.

It also claimed Google had bought off its competitors.

Google said that there are rival app stores for Android devices, and that apps can also be downloaded directly from developers' own websites.

The 37 states involved in the legal action include New York, Tennessee and North Carolina, as well as Washington DC.

It is a beta version of the app for the purpose of developer testing. Therefore, it might be unstable. On the app, you can download YouTube videos on your phone (or SD card) and send it to other devices. It works for Android version 4.1 and above.

Google Play Books adds Night Light feature to reduce eye strain

That's why the web giant has added a feature called Night Light to its Play Books app for iOS and Android devices.

Night Light gradually replaces the amount of harsh blue light emanating from your screen with more soothing yellows as the hour grows later.

When the feature has been activated, the app will match the brightness of your display with the time of night.

Amazon recently brought a similar feature to its Kindle Fire tablets in the form of Blue Shade, which gives screens a warm orange tint.
