Rashford has 'brilliant' future – Mourinho

Rashford came on at half-time of the Manchester derby as United fell to a 2-1 defeat to City on Saturday.

The 18-year-old is yet to start under Mourinho, but the Portuguese tactician is ready for that to change in the Europa League.

"For me the next big game is against Feyenoord and the next game he is going to play. That is the only thing I can say," Mourinho told UK newspapers.

Mourinho: Pogba is world's best midfielder

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho believes Paul Pogba is the world's best midfielder, but does not expect the France international to produce fireworks every week.

While Pogba became the world's most expensive transfer with his move from Juventus to United, he is not expected to score as many goals as the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Mourinho starts with United victory

Juan Mata scored the first league goal of the new era in the 40th minute and Wayne Rooney headed the second just before the hour.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic then marked his league debut by scoring with a low drive from 25 metres.

Mourinho said he was impressed by all facets of his team's performance.

"Everything, three points, the quality of our attacking football, the quality of our control, the quality of us defensively, obviously it's the premier league, one mistake you are punished immediately so one mistake, one goal."

Mourinho leaves Chelsea

A statement said Chelsea and the 52-year-old Portuguese Mourinho had parted company by "mutual consent" seven months after he led them to the title by an eight-point margin.
