Israel ambassador presents credentials to Samoa

Ambassador Yaakoby is based at the embassy in Wellington, New Zealand.

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Samoa and Israel in 1977, both countries have continued to maintain cordial relations.

As highlighted in the remarks delivered by the Member of the Council of Deputies and the Ambassador of Israel during the Credential ceremony, Samoa continues to benefit from the MASHAV development cooperation program of Israel through capacity building and training opportunities in the fields of health, agriculture and education.

Japan’s Ambassador presents credentials to Samoa’s Head of State

The Credentials ceremony was held at the Head of State’s official residence at Vailele yesterday.

Ambassador Keisuke expressed that Samoa and Japan have enjoyed excellent friendship and relations since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1973. He pledged to fulfill his mission to further strengthen the existing good relations by expanding the scope of cooperation between our two countries.

Ambassador of Netherlands to Samoa presents letter of credence

The credential ceremony took place Tuesday at the Office of the Head of State in Vailele.

Ambassador Woldberg said she is pleased to become a source of connection between Samoa and Netherland.

“I consider myself fortunate and privileged to serve as Ambassador to Your beautiful and friendly country.”

“The ties between our two nations date back to the year 1722 when Dutch explorer Jacob Roggeveen was the first European to set eye on the islands during his Pacific travel,” she said.
