Best man William says revenge will be 'sweet'

Prince Harry, who is marrying Meghan Markle in Windsor on 19 May, was the best man when the Duke of Cambridge married Kate Middleton in 2011.

Prince Harry also joked with reporters stating that he had got down on one knee to ask his brother, who said he was "thrilled" to be asked.

Prince William said he was "working on" a name for his three-day old son.

Prince William and Catherine's third child, who was born on Monday weighing 8lb 7oz, is fifth in line to the throne.

The pair were accompanied on Wednesday afternoon by Prince William's wife, Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, as they toured what had been known as the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace in London, to mark two decades on from the death of their mother Diana, Princess of Wales.

"The engagement will allow the Princes to pay tribute to the life and work of their mother the day before the twentieth anniversary of her death," an earlier statement from Kensington Palace said.

The White Garden, at Kensington Palace, was planted to mark 20 years since Princess Diana died in a car crash.

The Duchess of Cambridge joined the princes on the garden tour.

A spokeswoman for Kensington Palace said: "The engagement will allow the princes to pay tribute to the life and work of their mother."

They met representatives from the causes and charities supported by Diana, including the Royal Marsden and Great Ormond Street hospitals, the National Aids Trust, Centrepoint youth homelessness charity and the Leprosy Mission.

In a documentary called Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy timed to coincide with the 20th anniversary of Diana's death in a Paris car crash on Aug. 31, 1997, the princes said they spoke to their mother shortly before she died.

"Harry and I were in a desperate rush to say goodbye, you know, 'See you later' ... If I'd known now, obviously, what was going to happen, I wouldn't have been so blasé about it and everything else," Prince William said.

The magazine published topless photos of the Duchess of Cambridge in 2012, the magazine's lawyer told the UK Press Association on Tuesday.

The trial began Tuesday in France for six people associated with Closer magazine and regional newspaper La Provence, the Press Association reported. The French magazine Closer is separate from the UK's Closer magazine.

"Huge thanks to people like Adele," Prince William told hosts Scott Mills and Chris Stark.

The prince also revealed he had previously texted in to Radio 1, under an assumed name.

Along with song requests, he's also asked for - and got - a shout out from former Radio 1 DJ Sara Cox.

Speaking about their mental health campaign, Prince William described how "eye-opening" the experience had been.

He said he wanted his children to grow up able to express their feelings.

Prince William has also teamed up with pop star Lady Gaga - in a video call they spoke about the importance of people talking about their struggles.

It comes after Prince Harry revealed he sought help after nearly 20 years "not thinking" about the death of their mother, Diana, Princess of Wales.

The singer, who headlined Coachella Festival on Saturday, had a frank chat with the Duke of Cambridge from LA.

William contacted the star after reading her open letter about living with post-traumatic stress disorder.

Over the weekend, Prince Harry revealed that he had counselling after his mother Princess Diana's death.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge praised the courage of two French army members, who described their injuries and the effects the attacks had on their lives.

"You're very brave," Kate told them.

The royal couple also met World War II veterans during a visit to Les Invalides military hospital in Paris.

They toured the Impressionists Gallery at the Musee d'Orsay before watching a rugby match between France and Wales.

Princes take rugby rivalry to a new level

With the Queen now aged 90, Prince Harry and Prince William will replace their grandmother as patrons of the English and Welsh rugby unions respectively, it was announced Tuesday.

Britain's long-serving monarch will step down as the patron of 25 UK organizations, including the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, the British Cycling Federation, the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Holocaust Memorial Trust.
