Tributes pour in for rugby legend Fesola'i Va'aiga Tuigamala

“Humility, such a community man, extraordinary through his football career, both in rugby and rugby league. He did many things other people simply can’t do, so he was a person who paved the way.”

Former All Black and Samoa international Va'aiga Tuigamala has died

Nicknamed "Inga the Winger", Tuigamala made his All Blacks debut in 1989 and was capped 19 times by the national team, before switching to rugby league and representing Samoa at the 1995 World Cup.

In a statement, his former club said the "Wigan Warriors are deeply saddened to learn of the tragic news that former player Va'aiga (Inga) Tuigamala has passed away."

"Wigan Warriors send their deepest condolences to the family and friends at this awful time."

The club did not give a cause for his death.

Former Junior Kiwi and NRL player Masada Iosefa dies night before 33rd birthday

The talented hooker passed away just hours short of his 33rd birthday (Tuesday) and is being mourned by team-mates at Rockhampton, where he was set to captain the Emu Park team this season.

Born in Samoa, Iosefa moved to Sydney with his family at a young age and was a schoolboy star at Patrician Brothers' College, Blacktown.

He was signed by Penrith and made 43 appearances between 2008 and 2011.

He then played for Wests Tigers in 2012-13, often filling in for star hooker Robbie Farah.

Vidot, 26, joined Salford in November 2015 and the Samoa international scored six tries in 10 games during an injury-affected season.

The former Brisbane three-quarter also had a trial with World Wrestling Entertainment in 2015.

"We understand that family is hugely important," head coach Ian Watson said.

"Daniel provides a lot for his loved ones, and we were never going to stand in his way when he said he wanted to go back."

Worcester Warriors sign Samoa international until the end of the season

New Zealand-based Vui, who can play at lock forward or in the back row, earned his first cap for Samoa against France last month.

"Chris is a big, powerful and adaptable forward," said head coach Carl Hogg.

"He will certainly add some strength to our pack and, at just 23, he is an experienced leader."

Vui captained New Zealand side North Harbour to the Mitre 10 Championship title in October, having played for Auckland Blues in the 2015 Super Rugby campaign.

He previously represented New Zealand Under-20s in the 2013 World Rugby Championship.
