State of Origin decider

Ethan Lowe to make Maroons debut, but Kevvy coy on last-minute switch

After second-rower Matt Gillett was ruled out of the decider at ANZ Stadium, Walters was forced to chose between prop Dylan Napa and the South Sydney second-rower Lowe for the final position.

Lowe, who has played 15 games for South Sydney this year, has won the spot.

However, it’s unclear whether he will start or if the Maroons will shuffle their lineup.

Speaking on NRL 360 on Tuesday night, Walters was coy when asked directly by Paul Kent if he would start David Fifita in place of Gillett, with Lowe to move to the bench.

NSW Blues set to switch up forward pack for State of Origin decider

After first being overlooked for game three, NRL.com reports David Klemmer is set to start alongside Newcastle teammate Daniel Saifiti.

The change-up means St George Illawarra prop Paul Vaughan will go back to the bench like he did in Origin II.

Manly’s Jake Trbojevic will stay at lock despite being moved to prop in game two, while Melbourne workhorse Dale Finucane will come off the bench instead of starting like he did in Perth.
