How safe is it to be a stunt performer?

A stuntwoman was killed in a motorcycle accident earlier this week while filming Deadpool 2 in the Canadian city of Vancouver.

Eyewitnesses said Joi SJ Harris had lost control of the bike, jumped a kerb and crashed into a building.

Her death follows that of stuntman John Bernecker, who died after suffering a fall on the set of The Walking Dead.

French artist turns chicken for three-week egg hatching

How? By incubating 10 eggs with his own body heat.

He will live inside a glass vivarium until his charges hatch, watched by visitors to the Palais de Tokyo museum in Paris.

Poincheval expects the process to last between 21 and 26 days.

"I will, broadly speaking, become a chicken," he said.

The artist, 44, began the performance - titled "Oeuf" (Egg) - on Wednesday.

Rather than sitting on the eggs directly, he is deploying a chair with a container under its seat.

The daredevils feeding a dangerous Russian craze

What drives these extreme selfie daredevils?

He's got a camera strapped to his head and he teeters on the edge of the roof in a nine story apartment block in Siberia.

"Are you filming?" he asks, as a friend hands him a flaming torch. Orange flames engulf his legs and suddenly he jumps, somersaulting in the air like a stricken warplane before landing with a thud into a deep pile of snow.

Teen free runner recreates iconic Trainspotting opening

Known as "Wee Beastie" he's recreated the iconic Trainspotting opening sequence from 1996, after his dad suggested it.

In the original, heroin addict Renton, played by Ewan McGregor, is chased by security guards for shoplifting in Edinburgh.

The new version comes with a much healthier message about freedom and choice.

"Choose a mind-stimulating, physically strengthening pursuit that gets your heart pumping like never before," we hear alongside classic tune Iggy Pop's Lust for Life.
