Disney's first gay character and love scene

US actor Josh Gad plays LeFou, a sidekick of the film's main antagonist Gaston.

LeFou tries to come to terms with feelings for Gaston that swing between lust and admiration, as a side-plot to the main story.

When the first Beauty and the Beast trailer was released last year it had almost 130 million views in 24 hours.

Disney are calling it their first ever "exclusively gay moment" on film.

Ed Sheeran to make guest appearance in Game of Thrones

Speaking at the SXSW film festival in Texas, David Benioff and Dan Weiss said they'd been trying to book him for a while.

Ed also confirmed the news as reports started to appear online by tweeting "guess the cat's out the bag".

It's not clear what role he'll have in the show.

The panel at SXSW also featured stars Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams.

It was suggested that the Ed Sheeran booking was made as a surprise for Maisie because she's a big fan of the singer.

Ed's not the first musician to appear in Game of Thrones.

But then they try to move on - and find that their iconic character just won't let them.

You may know him better as Will Smith's highfalutin cousin Carlton Banks from 1990s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He's said being overshadowed by his character has "stopped me from being able to be an actor".

Golden Globes bartender Oscar Zuleta a favourite with the stars

As the long-time bartender in the show's off-camera green room, Oscar Zuleta has toasted with Sean Connery, gotten a head rub from Tom Hanks and shared a selfie with Jessica Alba.

The 48-year-old Beverly Hilton Hotel staffer keeps the drinks flowing at the awards circuit's booziest gathering.

"A lot of people know me for that — 'you are the only Oscar at the Golden Globes'," Mr Zuleta said.

"I know many of the presenters for years now — wonderful people and I get to see them every year and they happen to remember me, luckily."

The golden age of black television

Sound familiar?

In the era of #BlackLivesMatter, there's been a bumper crop of TV series offering various glimpses into black lives and culture.

And while shows like "I Spy" and "Julia" broke ground in the late 1960s by featuring black actors, today's shows feature black artists on screen and off.

With her HBO comedy "Insecure," Issa Rae became the first black woman to create and star in her own series on a premium cable channel.
