Shane Warne dies aged 52 of suspected heart attack

Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived," a statement from Warne's management said.

"The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course."

Royal Thai Police have told the ABC Warne was holidaying with four people in a luxury villa on Koh Samui.

Warne’s body has been sent to Koh Samui Hospital, where an autopsy will be carried out.

Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade officials will arrive in Koh Samui today to help return Warne's body to Australia.

Former All Black and Samoa international Va'aiga Tuigamala has died

Nicknamed "Inga the Winger", Tuigamala made his All Blacks debut in 1989 and was capped 19 times by the national team, before switching to rugby league and representing Samoa at the 1995 World Cup.

In a statement, his former club said the "Wigan Warriors are deeply saddened to learn of the tragic news that former player Va'aiga (Inga) Tuigamala has passed away."

"Wigan Warriors send their deepest condolences to the family and friends at this awful time."

The club did not give a cause for his death.
