The 71 test veteran has announced his decision on Instagram saying "it's been an honour and a privilege to have played footy over the years."

Weepu made his provincial debut in 2003 for Wellington, playing with the Lions until 2011 when he switched to Auckland from 2012-2014.

The 34 year-old made 124 Super Rugby appearances - 84 for the Hurricanes and 40 for the Blues.

His All Black career included playing a leading role in New Zealand's World Cup triumph in Auckland in 2011.

Fekitoa signed a two-year deal with the Top 14 side, confirming the deal via his Instagram page last month. 

The 24-Test player spoke for the first time on Thursday about his decision to leave, revealing a slip down the pecking order with the All Blacks was the main decision to leave.

"It was the hardest decision I have ever made," Fekitoa told reporters.

"I just started my career and even though 90 percent of fans and supporters disagree with it I believe it is the right to do that and I think it will make me a better player.

The 30-year-old, who featured only sporadically for Tana Umaga's Blues in 2017 as he battled injury and form issues, has agreed to a two-year deal with La Rochelle in the French Top 14 competition.

Ranger, who has made 76 appearances for the Blues, previously played for Montpellier in France from 2013-15, before returning to the Auckland franchise in 2016 in an ill-fated bid to revive his New Zealand career.

Guildford's journey back to professional rugby has taken another step forward being signed to play for Waikato in this season's Mitre 10 provincial cup competition.

RNZI reports alcohol and off-field problems have plagued Guildford's career, culminating with the New South Wales Waratahs terminating his Super rugby contract last year.

He's also played for the Hurricanes, the Crusaders and the French club Clermont, where there were also problems during his stints there.

Evans, who began his career at Otago as a full-back, made his test debut for New Zealand against England in 2004 and won a total of 16 caps, scoring 103 points. He last played for the All Blacks at the 2007 Rugby World Cup.

The 36-year-old joined English Premiership side Harlequins in 2008 and went on to make 206 appearances for the club, scoring a club record 2,217 points with 30 tries, 309 conversions, 476 penalties and seven drop goals.

Williams, 35, was charged with buying 2.4 grams of cocaine in February.

Former Wallabies winger James O'Connor, who plays for Toulon, was also arrested and charged with possession.

Williams played for Parisian club Racing 92 at the time of the incident and the club said afterwards that he would be fired.

O'Connor was suspended by his club over the incident.

"Unfortunately, he will soon be fired," club president.Jacky Lorenzetti told rugby weekly Midi Olympique.

AAP reports the 35-year-old Williams was charged last month.

Former Wallabies winger James O'Connor, who plays for Toulon, was also arrested and charged with possession.

Both players have been stood down by their clubs.

Williams, a 77 test veteran, has been summoned to appear at the National Rugby League's discipline commission on 29 March.

He is alleged to have purchased $300 worth of cocaine.

He was arrested in June last year after being accused of attacking his partner and damaging the front door of where he lives while intoxicated.

Kelleher was accused of pushing the woman after a night out drinking.

The woman involved told police at the time that Kelleher pushed her several times, grabbed her by the hair and threw her into a car.

In court Kelleher's lawyer described the incident as a "lovers' quarrel".

Police apprehended Williams and former Australian international James O'Connor after they were allegedly caught handing over cash to a drug dealer outside a night-club in the French capital at about 3am Saturday morning (local time).

An official said both players were drunk at the time of their arrest and were not carrying identification papers.

The official added that they were attempting to buy drugs worth about $200 euros and that the two sellers were also arrested.

Toulon president Mourad Boudjellal has revealed that Nonu has penned a one-year contract extension with the club.

That means the two-time Rugby World Cup winner will stay with the Top 14 outfit until June 2018.

The 34-year-old joined Toulon after helping New Zealand to defend their Rugby World Cup crown at the 2015 tournament in England.

Nonu, who won New Zealand's Kelvin R Tremain Player of the Year award in 2015, battled in his first year with Toulon but has impressed during the 2016/17 season, scoring three tries in 19 matches in all competitions.
