30 non-Samoans selected randomly for permanent residency

An online selection draw, was executed by government officials to pick on a random basis the 30 individuals who will now proceed to the second phase of processing of permanent resident permits.

It’s the second year since this online selection resource has been used, replacing the phased out manual drawing system that the Ministry had used in the past.

Permanent residents for Samoan RSE Workers touted

The issue was raised by Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi during bilateral talks with New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters in Apia this week.

And Prime Minister Tuilaepa during his weekly media programme with Taimi male Palemia and Talamua.com remains confident that Wellington will consider the merits of the request from Apia.
