Cabinet approved financial assistance of $10,000 for the Samoa Tennis Association to help with preparations as hosts of the East Pacific Junior Qualifiers tournament
The funds will also enable Team Samoa to participate in international tennis tournaments.
The tournament held over a week ago brought teams from Tahiti, Tonga, Rarotonga and American Samoa to Apia.
Samoa is also competing in the Pacific Oceania Junior Championships in Fiji on 15 – 24 August and the Vanuatu Junior Regional Tennis Championships in December.
