Last of Fijian group arrested on sedition charges bailed

The Fiji High Court in Lautoka has granted bail to the twenty men and one woman charged with sedition and urging political violence.

FBC New reports these were the last of the accused who had been remanded in custody after being arrested three months ago.

Twenty of the 42 accused were granted bail two weeks ago.

They are on bail bonds of US$464 and directed to report to the nearest police stations each Saturday and Monday.

They are also restricted to meeting with no more than three peoplee at a time outside of their families.

The group is next due in court on February 3rd.
