The young side which features players who will be making their debut in an international competition will be captained by Leilani Solaese.
Samoa Netball’s Chief Executive Officer, Rosemarie Esera says their 2017 NWYC campaign started back in April 2016 with a series of camps leading to the final camp for the selection of the team in the Gold Coast earlier on this month.
The team includes 12 players and 2 non-travelling players.
Samoa is in Group A with reigning champions New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Northern Ireland.
Twenty countries will participate in the global show piece in Gaborone from July 8 to 16.
Samoa was ranked 10th at the last NYWC in Glasgow, Scotland in 2013.
