The tabloid claims Jolie, 40, has taken a boy named Allouy Shoun into her care after she came across his family of 13 brothers and sisters when spending time in the town of Siem Reap, where she was directing her latest directorial project, First They Killed My Father.

The two attended the 2015 British motorcycle Grand Prix, aka the MotoGP World Championship, at Silverstone in Northampton, England. Sporting noise-cancellation headphones, the boy and the 51-year-old actor, a biker himself, watched the race with his dad. Pitt and Knox then met with winner and Italian racer Valentino Rossi and posed for group photos. 

The online streaming service announced the news Thursday.

The film will be based on Loung Ung's memoir of her experiences during the Khmer Rouge regime as a child. It's expected to be available on Netflix in late 2016.

Jolie co-adapted the script with Ung. The actress and director says the memoir deepened her understanding of how children experience war. It also helped reinforce her connection to Cambodia, where her son Maddox was born.
