The suspects were apprehended for allegedly being in possession of marijuana.
"The first two men were arrested on Wednesday the 27th of April, said police spokesperson, Superintendent Sua Maliaga Tiumalu.
“They were travelling to Savaii in a pickup truck, and police had suspected they were carrying marijuana with them."
"We discovered that they were carrying ten rolled up marijuana smokes and were arrested and charged with possession of narcotics," he added.
The two men aged 35 and 56 respectively will appear in court for a trial on 16 May.
