Jarryd Hayne

No end in sight to Hayne's centre shift

Early fears that Hayne was forced from the field last Saturday with a recurrence of the ankle injury that kept him out for five weeks were allayed straight after the game, a nerve issue caused by a blow to the leg responding immediately to treatment.

He ran on Tuesday morning and was named at left centre, the position he has played in wins against the Knights and Storm in the Titans' past two starts.

Decimated by injuries the Titans have recalled both Dan Sarginson (knee) and William Zillman (calf) into the starting side but both trained predominantly with the rehab group on Tuesday.

Hayne to be sidelined for 4-6 weeks

As he ran his eye over the walking wounded at the Titans' recovery session at Parkwood on Monday, Henry ran through the list of injuries stemming from Saturday's 34-26 loss to the Knights as well as providing an update on players who could return in time to face the Eels at Cbus Super Stadium on Friday night.

Eleven players with NRL experience are on the injured list at present with William Zillman (calf), Dan Sarginson (knee) and Ryan Simpkins (rib cartilage) the three most likely to come into consideration for selection on Tuesday.

Titans fullback Jarryd Hayne expected to miss the next month of NRL

Hayne will undergo scans today but the Titans boss Graham Annesley is resigned to losing him for a lot more than just the highly anticipated first clash with his former club Parramatta on Friday night.

The winless Titans are now facing an early season injury crisis after Anthony Don and Kayne Lawton suffered dislocated shoulders in the same game.

Hayne's online browsing history was being shown on a screen at the school, featuring mostly sports images, when a pornographic website was displayed on the screen to the 200-plus students at Robina State High School.

In a statement issued late Monday, Norton said it was continuing to investigate the incident but could "categorically confirm that the inappropriate images were not from Jarryd's mobile phone".

"The content was traced back to a Samsung device while Jarryd was utilising an iPhone," the statement read.

Hayne denies any wrongdoing

Footage appeared on Snapchat showing Hayne and alleged Hells Angels gang member Bloomfield at the home of fellow Titan Nene Macdonald on Saturday night, prompting more questions about NRL players' links to alleged criminals.

Hayne said in a club statement he has not met former Titans under-20s player Bloomfield before going for end-of-season drinks on Saturday, a day after the Titans' season ended at the hands of the Broncos.

"There were some people there that I knew and some people there I didn't know, including Chris Bloomfield who I met for the first time," he said.
