Amber Heard abuse case

Lily-Rose Depp, the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star's 17-year-old daughter with singer Vanessa Paradis, posted a photo on Instagram over the weekend of herself as a baby with her father.

"My dad is the sweetest most loving person I know, he's been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same," the caption read.

The actor has been accused of domestic violence by his estranged wife Amber Heard, who recently filed for divorce after 15 months of marriage.

But as public scrutiny continues to surround the former couple, a source close to the model is coming forward and providing a glimpse into how Amber is doing amidst the divorce drama.

"This has been incredibly upsetting for Amber but she knows she is doing the right thing," our source shared with E! News. "It has been very traumatic for her to finally speak out, but she needs to do what she can to protect herself."

And while the notoriously private couple has done their best to keep the details of their relationship as out of the public eye as possible over the course of their five years together, Amber's declaration gives some insight into the dynamic between the two stars.

Amber alleges that Johnny "has a short fuse" and that "his temper is exceptionally scary for me as it has proven many times to be physically dangerous and/or life-threatening to me."
