Caretaker Samoa govt walks back Tuilaepa's Facebook call

Samoa will go to the polls for the second time this year on 21 May, following a controversial decision by the country's Head of State last week.

Last month's national election saw an unprecedented swing of votes away from the ruling Human Rights Protection Party, to the newcomer Fa'atuatua i le Atua Samoa ua Tasi, or FAST party.

The election produced a tie of 26 seats each in the parliament for FAST and the HRPP.
