Reconciliation

Samoa's PM to lead police reconciliation ceremony

A reliable source in the police says the prime minister is expected to address the gathering but no other details has been made available to them.

Tuila'epa Sailele Malielegaoi in his weekly radio interview last Thursday compared the reconciliation between the Fuiavailili and the divided senior officers to a divorced couple that when they are reunited their relationship is solid and stronger.

Tuila'epa also reaffirmed that the keys to the police armoury will continue to be in his possession as the Minister of police.
