New Zealand U-19 women’s secure win over Samoa

This is their fourth straight victory and they are likely to top the championship.

In their first match they defeated Papua New Guinea 12-0 followed by defeating Fiji 9-1 and New Caledonia 12-0.

With one more game to go New Zealand is already wrapping up the title after securing their fourth straight victory.

A goal each from , Grace Jale, Emma Main, Hannah Blake two goals from Samantha Tawharu was enough for the Kiwis girls to shield their title.

New Zealand final match will be against Tonga on July 24.

New Caledonia U 19 disrupts Samoa’s game to win

While Samoa seemed to continually be launching attacks from all over the field in the first half, New Caledonia made the most of what they had and put a high pressure attacking mentality to good use.

Clinical tackling and pressing high on the ball in packs, New Caledonia were able to disrupt the Samoan passing game.
