Bonus minutes for top overseas calls

Staying in line with its aim of giving customers savings with the recent introduction of its all in one plans, they are now making it even more affordable for customers to make overseas calls to selected top eleven countries.

As of 12.01am on Friday 22nd September local time, any prepaid customer that calls any of the selected overseas countries will now only pay for a five-minute call while the next fifteen minutes are absolutely free.

Digicel introduces Seki Sim Plus

Digicel Samoa branching into hotel industry

The Chairman of Digicel's board Pepe Christian Fruean said the ground would be broken next month for a hotel to be built on government land in Sogi.

He said the hotel would be a $40 million investment and would cater to business travellers.

RNZI reports Digicel Samoa is soliciting bids for the design work.

     

Digicel Samoa welcomes new CEO

A proven leader in the business, Farid understands customers and knows the business very well, having served since 2006 in other Digicel Pacific markets, including Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Fiji and Tonga.

Farid has previously served as Digicel Samoa’s Chief Financial Officer in 2012 and until recently as its Chief Operating Officer.

Digicel presents WST $1million dividend to Samoan shareholders

Samoa National Provident Fund Chief Executive Officer, Faumuina Esther Lameko Poutoa received the payment on behalf of SNPF contributing members, who are shareholders.

“Our partnership over the last ten years has been a great success and things like these benefit our members greatly and it’s a partnership we hope would continue to thrive,”Faumuina said.
