Samoa and NZ cyber security agencies sign agreement to enhance collaborative cyber security efforts

The Framework of Cooperation agreement allows for knowledge sharing and understanding of cyber security issues between the Samoan and Aotearoa New Zealand governments’ cyber security agencies, SamCERT and CERT NZ.

Pacific partners, Government of Samoa and Aotearoa New Zealand, have areas of common interest which the Framework of Cooperation has been focused on.

Samoa and Fiji sign agreement supporting collaboration between UTOS, UTOF and SNPF

 

According to UTOF, this is an historical event as it extends its services to Samoa.

Fiji’s Attorney General and Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum formalised the agreement with Samoa's Government Wednesday afternoon in Nadi.

Sayed-Khaiyum and Samoa's Minister for Finance Sili Epa Tuioti had a fruitful discussion addressing a number of investment opportunities and renewed calls to revamp diplomatic and trade relations once the borders have opened up.

Pacific Games Office signs MoU with SASNOC

The event marks a milestone in solidifying the partnership between the Pacific Games Office and SASNOC ahead of the Games.

The partnership provides SASNOC financial and in-kind support valued at $1.5 million Tala from the Pacific Games Office. In exchange, the Pacific Games Office has received the rights of association with Team Samoa to sell and market for the Samoa 2019 Pacific Games.

The EU and Government of Samoa sign a new Agreement

The Agreement was signed by the Prime Minister Tuilaepa Aiono Sailele Malielegaoi and the European Union Commissioner for International Cooperation & Development Mr. Neven Mimica on Wednesday the 15th of June.
